East Sussex National Golf Club

I was project architect on this complex and prestige job. Built in 1993, Michael Blee Design was engaged to produce the master plan for a new golfing and leisure complex. The first phase was the clubhouse, with a budget of £7million. Every last light fitting was purpose designed, and only the highest quality materials were used. Construction of the circular clubhouse was complex and intricate, and used every construction discipline. The clubhouse has now matured in its landscaping, as has the golf course. And both the materials and detailing have stood the test of time.
